We are a startup funded by Blackbird, Icehouse Ventures and K1W1. We build tools that keep communities safe with security technology. T o do this, we are solving extremely challenging engineering problems in the IoT space (Think IP Cameras, door access controls and various IoT sensors). Our platform ingests millions of potential threats a week, which we apply machine learning models such as Object Detection, Large Language Models, and Pose Detection to surface only what truly matters to our users.
You'll have high ownership of large projects and initiatives, from idea through to execution and delivery, work closely with all product engineering functions, designers, UX engineers, and customer success. You will mentor the team on site reliability, and onboard the next generation of Watchful employees.
● Design and maintain scalable, resilient Kubernetes infrastructure
● Implement and manage cloud-native architectural patterns
● Develop and maintain automated deployment and scaling strategies
● Create and improve monitoring, alerting, and incident response procedures
● Ensure high availability and performance of distributed systems
● Optimize application deployments
● Implement and manage infrastructure security controls
● Conduct regular system audits and performance reviews
● Advanced Kubernetes administration and architecture design
● Proficient in Kubernetes cluster management (EKS, GKE, or self-managed)
